Cookie Policy

This policy explains the technologies used on the Jay Malvern website and how you can control optional analytics cookies.

Last updated: 22 August 2026

Jay Malvern Ltd uses essential website technologies and, only with your permission, Google Analytics. Analytics remains blocked until you actively accept it.

1. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit a website. Similar browser technologies, such as local storage, can remember information between page visits without using a cookie.

Some technologies are strictly necessary to provide a service, protect a website or remember a privacy choice. They may be used without analytics consent. They do not mean that you have agreed to optional analytics.

2. Optional Google Analytics

With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website and to help us improve its content, usability and performance.

Analytics information may include pages visited, interactions with the site, device and browser information, approximate geographic or traffic-source information and general usage patterns. Jay Malvern Ltd does not intentionally send names, email addresses, telephone numbers, enquiry text, consultation details or other directly identifying information to Google Analytics.

Google Analytics is blocked until you choose Accept analytics. Before consent, the Google tag is not loaded, analytics requests are not sent and Google Analytics cookies are not created. We use basic consent blocking and do not send cookieless analytics pings before consent.

3. Technologies we use

Cookie names and durations can change when Google updates its services or when browser settings shorten storage periods. The durations above describe common GA4 behaviour rather than a guaranteed lifetime on every device.

4. Accepting, rejecting or changing your choice

On your first visit, the cookie notice offers equally available options to Accept analytics or Reject analytics. Continued browsing is not treated as consent, and rejecting analytics does not prevent you from using the website.

You can reconsider at any time by selecting Cookie settings in the website footer. If you withdraw consent, we stop analytics collection for future navigation and attempt to remove accessible first-party Google Analytics cookies from your browser. Withdrawing consent cannot erase information already sent to Google while consent was active.

You can also clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings. If local storage is unavailable or cleared, the website may ask for your preference again.

5. Google and international processing

Google Analytics is provided by Google LLC. Google may process analytics information internationally, including outside the United Kingdom. Google describes its privacy practices and applicable safeguards in its own privacy information.

You can read Google's Privacy Policy. Our use of analytics is also described in the Jay Malvern Privacy Policy.
